Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

2 lbs. Potatoes

3/4 c Milk

1.25 Sprigs of Rosemary

1.5 tsp Garlic Powder

(or 1.5 tsp Roasted Garlic)

5 Tbsp Butter

1.5 tsp Ranch Seasoning

0.5 tsp Pepper

1 tsp salt (as desired)

Directions

1. Start a med/lrg pot of water (with a bit of salt) on burner (med/high to high). Your going to boil the water.

2. Peel the potatoes. Quarter them.

3. Once water is boiling, add in the potatoes. You will be cooking these for about 16 minutes. In the meantime,…

4. Set a small saucepan on another burner set to the lowest setting.

5. Add the milk, rosemary, garlic (in whichever form), butter, ranch seasoning, pepper, and salt to the saucepan. You are going to let these warm together the remaining potato cook time. You don’t want them boiling just warming.

6. Once the potatoes are done, drain them. They will remain in the pot for the next step.

7. Remove the rosemary from the saucepan mixture. Add the saucepan mixture to the potatoes in the pot. You might need to use a spatula to make sure you get all the seasonings out of the saucepan and into the potatoes.

8. Mash them taters.

9. Taste and add additional salt or pepper if desired.
