Chex Mix

Ingredients:

15 tblsp butter (salted)

6 tblsp worcestershire sauce (plus a bit more during cooking – see last step below)

Tabasco to taste (up to 3 tblsp or more)

2 tsp seasoning salt

2 tsp garlic powder

1.5 tsp onion powder

1tsp celery salt

8c corn chex

5.3c crispix

4c wheat chex

2c cashews

2.6c pretzel sticks (some broken in half) about 5.2oz

1.3c almonds

3c cheerios

3c cheese its or nips

3c sesame crackers

3c garlic bagel chips

1tsp black pepper (ground)* (I am still testing this amount)

Directions

Melt butter.

Add spices and liquids to butter and mix.

Put all cereals and dry snacks in a large (LARGE) bowl. (I use a large roasting pan)

Pour butter mixture over dry ingredients a bit at a time and mix between pours.

Make sure it is well coated.

Cook at 250f for about 1 hour stirring every 15 min. I like to drizzle a bit of worcestershire sauce during stirrings.
