Ingredients
8.5 c. Rolled oats ~2 lbs
3/4 c. Sesame seeds
1/2 c. Sunflower seeds
1.5 c. Almonds (sliced)
1.5 c. Pecans (pieces)
1 c. Coconut (shredded, unsweetened)
3/4 c. Canola oil
~1 c. Maple syrup – adjust to liking
1 1/2 tbsp. Vanilla extract
1 1/2 tsp. Almond extract
1 1/2 tbsp. Cinnamon (ground)
1.5 tsp nutmeg (optional)
1.5 tsp ginger (optional)
1 tsp allspice (optional)
.75 tsp ground clove (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 250F.
- Combine dry ingredients. Stir..stir…stir
- Combine wet ingredients. Stir…stir…stir
- Pour wet into dry.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Spread granola on baking sheets.
- Arrange trays into upper 2/3 of oven.
- Cook granola 30 min.
- Stir granola, and swap top and bottom trays.
- Cook another 30 min.
- Stir and swap again.
- Cook another 30 min.
